ZSphere cannot pass through LUNs to virtual machines with 3PAR iSCSI active-active storage

Issue/Introduction

This article helps troubleshoot failures to pass LUNs through to virtual machines when ZSphere integrates with 3PAR iSCSI active-active storage.

Symptoms

• The underlying host can scan LUNs of sizes such as 1G and 5T.
• The LUN is visible when primary storage is created in the UI, but the virtual machine cannot complete LUN passthrough.
