Windows VM instance cannot obtain an IP address

Issue/Introduction

This article describes how to troubleshoot a Windows VM instance that cannot obtain an IP address. It applies to the initial diagnosis and resolution of similar issues in ZStack Cloud.

Symptoms

Run the following commands in a Windows command-line window to request an address again:

C:\Users\1>  ipconfig /release
