Quick Start Guide
Follow this workflow to create bare metal instances:
- (Optional) Add a custom bare metal template.
Bare metal templates generate preconfigured files for unattended batch operating system installation. You can use a system preconfigured template or upload a custom template. For more information, see Add a Custom Template.
- Create a bare metal cluster.
A bare metal cluster provides a dedicated management boundary for bare metal chassis. For more information, see Create a Bare Metal Cluster.
- Add bare metal chassis.
Add chassis manually or import them from a template. For more information, see Manually Add Bare Metal Chassis and Import Bare Metal Chassis from a Template.
- Create a bare metal instance.
