Experience Improvement Program

The Experience Improvement Program collects technical data about product usage and runtime performance to help improve usability, performance, and stability. Participation is voluntary, and you can leave the program at any time.

In the navigation pane, choose System Management > Experience Improvement Program to view the current participation status. Users with permission to modify the Experience Improvement Program settings can join or leave the program. Read-only users can view the participation status.

Data Collection

The platform does not participate in the Experience Improvement Program by default. After you join, the platform automatically generates a daily data report and uploads it over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

The collected technical data includes the product version, management node and host identifiers, VM counts and guest operating system distribution, and storage types. Business data, account credentials, and information that directly identifies individuals are not collected. For full details about data collection and use, read the Data Collection Statement when joining the program.

Join the Experience Improvement Program

  1. On the Experience Improvement Program page, confirm that the status is Not Joined and click Join Program.
  2. In the dialog box, click Data Collection Statement and read the details about data collection and use.
  3. If you agree, select I have read and agree to the Data Collection Statement and click Join Program.

After the operation succeeds, the page displays Joined.

If an invitation to the Experience Improvement Program appears after login, you can also read the statement and join the program from the invitation dialog box. If you prefer to join later, click Remind Me Later. You can still join from the Experience Improvement Program page at any time.

Leave the Experience Improvement Program

On the Experience Improvement Program page, click Leave Program when the status is Joined. After the operation succeeds, the page displays Not Joined, and the platform stops collecting further data and generating reports.
