Overview
ZStack Cube Virtualization Edition VM management helps administrators prepare deployment resources, manage the virtual machine lifecycle, access and maintain virtual machines, configure virtual machine settings, perform VM migration, manage snapshots, and configure failure handling policies.
Before you create a virtual machine, prepare the required image storage, images, VM templates, or VM specifications. After the virtual machine is created, you can access it through the console or SSH, adjust its hardware and runtime configuration, install VMTools, migrate it to another host or data storage, and use snapshots to preserve short-term states.
For cross-platform migration scenarios, use ZMigrate Migration Service. For VM scheduling, VM high availability, backup and recovery, security groups, key providers, and trusted VM configuration, see corresponding manuals.
