Openness and Compatibility describes how each capability domain in the ZCF architecture integrates and adapts to underlying hardware environments, ecosystems, and external tools.

ZCF supports decoupled software-and-hardware deployment. Users may provide hardware and software configuration lists based on actual requirements; ZCF imposes no vendor-specific restrictions or requirements on hardware. Legacy servers can also be uniformly managed via the cloud platform.

ZCF provides API support for developers. Developers can use HTTP-compatible programming languages to develop against the RESTful API, or call cloud platform APIs via the Java SDK and Python SDK to implement corresponding functionality.
