VM Instance
Supports More GuestOS Images
ZStack Cloud 5.4.0 adds support for the following GuestOS images:
- Linux: Ubuntu 24, RHEL 10, CentOS Stream 9, CentOS Stream 10, Debian 11, Debian 12, Debian 13, openEuler 24.03, Fedora 42, Oracle Linux 8, Oracle Linux 9, SUSE Linux 12, SUSE Linux 15, UOS 20, Rocky Linux 8, Rocky Linux 9, Rocky Linux 10, AnolisOS 8, AlmaLinux 9.
- Windows: Windows Server 2025.
When adding an image, you can accurately select the GuestOS type and version.

GuestTools Supports More GuestOS Types
Starting from ZStack Cloud 5.4.0, the GuestTools newly supports the following GuestOS types: RHEL 10, CentOS Stream 10, Debian 13, OpenEuler 24.03, Fedora 42, Oracle Linux 8, Oracle Linux 9, Rocky Linux 10, and Windows Server 2025.
For the complete list of GuestOS types supported by the GuestTools, see VM GuestTools in the User Guide.
Cloud Network
Supports HUAWEI iMaster NCE-Fabric V100R023 SDN Controller
- Automatic Configuration Deployment: When creating an L3 network, the SDN controller automatically delivers relevant network configurations, significantly improving network deployment efficiency.
- SDN Tenant-Level Resource Isolation: Subnet resources are automatically allocated to the target SDN tenant, achieving resource isolation and preventing cross-tenant resource contention.

Automatically Filters Storage Network NICs When Creating L2 Networks
ZStack Cloud 5.4.0 now supports automatically filtering out physical NICs that are tagged only with the Storage Network when selecting a NIC during the L2 network creation. You can attach tags to NICs on the Physical Network page in advance to avoid potential issues that might arise from creating L2 networks based on these NICs.
Note: A NIC will not be filtered if it has network tags other than Storage Network.
Octopus Automated Troubleshooting Tool Now Comes with the ISO
ZStack Cloud 5.4.0 ISO includes the Octopus toolkit. The toolkit integrates an eBPF toolset, including bcc command, bpftrace, nettrace, bpftool, and ptables-trace. This toolkit enables real-time monitoring of network quality for management network, storage network, and so on. This empowers O&M personnels to efficiently diagnose network issues, facilitating rapid troubleshooting, problem identification, and resolution.
Platform O&M
VM Performance Analysis List Supports Displaying Platform and OS Information
Starting from ZStack Cloud 5.4.0, the VM performance analysis list supports displaying platform and OS information. You can use Custom Column Item to show these information columns in the UI and export reports including relative information.

Operational Management
Tenant Management Supports SAML SSO Server
Starting from ZStack Cloud 5.4.0, SSO server supports the SAML protocol. You can enable the Cloud platform (as a Service Provider, SP) to integrate with an Identity Providers (IdP). Users from the IdP can log in to the Cloud platform without a password after authentication and authorization. User information will be synchronized to the Cloud platform according to mapping rules.

Application Market DTS Database Migration Service Upgrades to v2.7.0
Starting from ZStack Cloud 5.4.0, the Application Market DTS database migration service version upgrades to 2.7.0.
Cryptography Security Compliance
Supports UKey Pluginization for Flexible Adaptation to Various UKey Models
In previous versions, ZStack Cloud already supported adding cryptographic resources via standardized plugins, enabling quick integration with various types of HSMs or cryptographic service platforms and enhancing flexibility and for cryptography security compliance.
ZStack Cloud 5.4.0 further enhances UKey plugin support. You can use standardized plugins to quickly adapt various UKey types for certificate login, further improving the flexibility and scalability of cryptography security compliance features.

Licensing
Platform License Supports Authorization Based on Physical CPU Cores
Starting from ZStack Cloud 5.4.0, platform licensing supports authorization based on the number of physical CPU cores. This licensing method is fully compatible with x86, ARM, and other architectures. On the License Management page, you can view the total number of licensed and used CPU cores in real time, facilitating easy monitoring of usage for timely expansion or resource optimization.
Global Notices
Browser Support Upgrades from Chrome 66 to Chrome 87
ZStack Cloud 5.4.0 upgrades its minimum supported browser version to Chrome 87. We recommend using Chrome version 87 or above to ensure full functionality and optimal experience.
