Cloud Network
Supports Flexibly Specifying VM NIC Parameters
Starting from ZStack Cloud 5.5.16, you can flexibly specify IP address, gateway, subnet mask, and DNS for an individual NIC, further enhancing network configuration flexibility and adapting to more business scenarios.

Supports VPC vRouter SNAT Forwarding Traceability
Starting from ZStack Cloud 5.5.16, after SNAT is enabled on a VPC vRouter, forwarding logs can be recorded to support IP forwarding traceability, further meeting network security compliance requirements.
To receive and view forwarding logs, add an SNAT log server and turn on the SNAT Log switch on the VPC vRouter details page.

Elastic Baremetal Management
Introduces DPU-Accelerated Elastic Baremetal Cluster
Starting from ZStack Cloud 5.5.16, elastic baremetal clusters introduce a new DPU-accelerated type.
Supports 1:1 Deployment and Management of Baremetal Nodes through DPU Devices
A DPU-accelerated cluster deploys and manages nodes through the DPU devices on baremetal nodes, without relying on the deployment network or gateway nodes. It provides the following advantages:
- Decentralized design. The 1:1 mapping between a DPU device and a baremetal node avoids single-point-of-failure risks and simplifies the deployment process and operation difficulty.
- Network hardware acceleration is achieved through the OVS-DPDK engine on the DPU device.
- Storage performance is improved by directly connecting to primary storage through the SPDK engine on the DPU device.

Supports Ceph-Based Elastic Baremetal Instance Creation and Core Operations
DPU-accelerated clusters currently support integration with Ceph primary storage. You can create elastic baremetal instances based on Ceph primary storage and perform core operations, including creating, starting, stopping, deleting, and attaching/detaching Ceph volumes.
