Performance Improvement

Optimized Cache Mechanism for Better Hybrid-Flash Read/Write Performance

ZStack ZStone 5.0.0 optimizes the OSD cache solution to improve 4 KB random read/write performance and reduce I/O latency in hybrid-flash environments.

Ecosystem Expansion

Support for ARM Servers

ZStack ZStone 5.0.0 supports the ARM Kunpeng platform to meet ARM platform requirements for Block Storage and Object Storage. It also supports Euler- and Kylin-based versions of ZStack Cloud.

Storage Resource

Batch Creation and Deletion of Block Storage Volumes

In previous versions, block storage volumes could only be operated on one at a time. Starting from ZStack ZStone 5.0.0, block storage volumes can be created and deleted in batches for large-scale environments.
  • Up to 20 block storage volumes can be created in one batch.
  • Up to 20 block storage volumes can be deleted in one batch.

Estimated Storage-Pool Recovery Time

Starting from ZStack ZStone 5.0.0, estimated recovery time is displayed for storage pools. During data reconstruction, users can view the estimated amount of data to recover, the recovery speed under the current QoS policy, and the estimated remaining reconstruction time directly on the storage pool list page, simplifying O&M.
