New High-Performance Block Storage
ZStack ZStone 5.2.8 adds a High-Performance Block Storage license to provide low-latency, high-performance block storage services.
High-Performance Block Storage uses an advanced architecture designed for next-generation storage media and network technologies. It delivers excellent high-IOPS and low-latency performance while using multiple replicas to protect data over the long term. This stable and efficient storage service meets high-performance storage requirements for core databases, virtualization applications, and other workloads.
High Availability for Object Gateways
ZStack ZStone 5.2.8 adds high-availability object gateways. They reduce the risk of single points of failure to ensure service continuity and provide load balancing to prevent access traffic from concentrating on one endpoint, thereby maintaining object storage service quality.
Starting from ZStack ZStone 5.2.8, the original Object Gateway is renamed S3 Gateway and continues to provide S3-compatible object storage services.
New Cache Monitoring
Starting from ZStack ZStone 5.2.8, the cache partition utilization and cache hit rate of data disks and storage pools can be visually monitored. This gives users better visibility into upper-layer workload conditions and makes O&M and troubleshooting easier.
Port Encryption for Email Servers
Starting from ZStack ZStone 5.2.8, users can configure an encrypted connection for the email server port when adding an email server. The supported encryption types are STARTTLS/NONE and SSL/TLS, which better protect user privacy and content security.
Custom Product Branding
ZStack ZStone 5.2.8 adds theme settings. Users can customize the branding of the distributed storage platform, including the title and icon displayed in the browser, on the login page, and in the platform UI.
Optimized Resource Deletion Logic
- Supports removing data disks from an unhealthy storage pool.
- Supports deleting snapshots of third-party volumes.
- Supports disconnecting dependency chains in batches for native volumes only, and filtering and sorting block storage volumes by associated snapshots.
- Supports directly deleting a bucket and the data in it.
