System Setting
Overview
System Setting: System setting consists of email server, theme setting, and global setting.
Related Definitions
- Email Server: If you select Email as the endpoint of an alarm, you need to add an email server. Then alarm messages are sent to the email server.
- Theme Setting: You can customize the theme and appearance of the platform.
- Global Setting: Global Setting allows you to configure settings that take effect on the whole platform.
Email Server
Add an Email Server
On the main menu of ZStack ZStone, choose . On the Email Server page, click Add Email Server.
- Name: Set the name for the endpoint.
Naming rules: 1-128 characters long. A name can contain Chinese characters, letters, digits, spaces, hyphens (-), underscores (_), periods (.), parenthesis (), colons (:), and plus signs (+). You cannot start or end with a space.
- User Name: Optional. You can enter the user name for the email server.
- Password/Authorization Code: Optional. You can enter the
password in this field.
Note: If you use a public SMTP server as an email server,
remember to enable POP3/SMTP in the server settings. You have to enter the
authorization code you have obtained. - Email Server Type: The default type is smtp.
- Email Server: Enter the email server address, for example, smtp.xxx.com/172.20.16.255.
- Port: Enter the server port. The default is 25.
- Email Test: Verify server connectivity. This option is disabled by default.
- Test Email Address: Enter the email address to test.
- Encryption Type: You can encrypt connections to the ports
of your email servers. By default, the encryption type STARTTLS/NONE is
selected.
Note:
- When the encryption type STARTTLS/NONE is selected, the system automatically detects and switches port encryption protocols.
- If you select SSL/TLS, the corresponding default port is 465.

Manage an Email Server
On the main menu of ZStack ZStone, choose . Then, the Email Server page is displayed.

Theme Setting
On the main menu of ZStack ZStone, choose . Then, the Theme Setting page is displayed.
Customize the Theme and Appearance
On the Theme Setting page, you can configure title setting for browser, login interface, and platform interface.
- Favicon: Set the browser icon.
Note: Upload a file in
ICO format. The file must be no greater than 2 MB in size. - Chinese Title: Set the Chinese title for the
browser.
Note: The field must be 1-30 characters in length. - English Title: Set the English title for the
browser.

- Logo: Set the logo for the login
interface.
Note: Upload a JPG, JPEG, PNG, or SVG image that is within 2
MB. - Chinese Title: Set the Chinese title for the login
interface.

- Logo: Set the logo for the platform interface.

Restore to Default
After you set the theme and appearance, you can clear up the current configurations by clicking Restore to Default.
Global Setting
On the main menu of ZStack ZStone, choose . Then, the Global Setting page is displayed.
Global Setting consists of Basic Setting and Advanced Setting. You can configure settings as needed.
