Configure Uplinks for Hosts

Procedure

1. In the navigation pane, choose Inventory > Network Resource.
2. In the resource tree, select the target distributed switch.
3. On the target distributed switch details page, click the Uplink tab.
4. In the Unjoined Host list, select the target host.
   1. If the new host bond configuration matches the uplink configuration of the distributed switch associated with the host's cluster, the host automatically joins the uplink.
   2. If the new host bond configuration does not match the uplink configuration of the distributed switch associated with the host's cluster, click Actions > Join Uplink.
      After the host joins the uplink, the host bond configuration is adjusted to match the switch uplink configuration.
