Attach or Detach Clusters

Procedure

1. In the navigation pane, choose Inventory > Network Resource.
2. In the resource tree, select the target distributed switch.
3. On the target distributed switch details page, click the Cluster tab.
4. Attach clusters as needed.
   1. Click Attach Cluster.
   2. In the Attach Cluster dialog, select the target cluster, bond configuration method, and host NIC.
      When attaching a cluster, you cannot specify the bond mode. The bond mode is inherited from the distributed switch.
   3. Click OK.
5. Detach clusters as needed.
   1. Click Detach Cluster.
   2. In the Detach Cluster dialog, select the target cluster.
   3. Click OK.
   Note: After a cluster is detached, the corresponding VM NICs are detached. Proceed with caution.
