Management Node Monitoring

In a multi-management-node high-availability environment, you can view the health of each management node.

Management node monitoring displays the management node IP address, node status, VIP, and management service status for each node. The monitored services include:
  • Arbiter Gateway Reachable: Indicates whether the arbitration IP address used by the active and standby management nodes is reachable. If it is unreachable, management node high availability might fail.
  • Peer MN Reachable: Indicates whether the peer management node is reachable. If it is unreachable, the management nodes cannot communicate with each other.
  • VIP Reachable: Indicates whether the VIP is reachable. If it is unreachable, the management UI cannot be accessed through the VIP.
  • Database Status: Indicates whether the database is healthy and synchronized across management nodes. An unhealthy or unsynchronized database can result in data loss and requires prompt recovery.
