File Storage
New File Storage Service
ZStack ZStone 5.3.0 introduces a newly developed File Storage service, providing more flexible, secure, and efficient file management and sharing.
File Share
ZStack ZStone provides directory sharing over NFS and SMB to meet different file-sharing requirements. A mount directory can be configured independently for each access protocol, simplifying cross-platform sharing and improving flexibility.
File Gateway
File gateway groups provide standard file access protocols such as NFS and SMB. Users can select an appropriate access gateway based on actual requirements to ensure secure and efficient data transmission.
File User
- For NFS, client IP network information can be configured for access control.
- For SMB, local file users can be used for access control.
File Directory
ZStack ZStone adds file directory management. After a file system is initialized, users can create, delete, and search first-level subdirectories to organize and manage file resources efficiently.

High-Performance Block Storage Enhancements

License Management
New File Storage License
ZStack ZStone 5.3.0 adds a File Storage license for providing File Storage services and storing and managing file data. Licensing by capacity (TB), number of nodes, or number of CPUs is supported.
New High-Speed Network License
ZStack ZStone 5.3.0 adds a high-speed network license for high-performance network access within a storage cluster. Licensing by network speed (GbE) is supported at 25G, 40G, 100G, or unlimited speed.
