Manage a Service VM
Manage the VM that hosts a platform service from the service overview.
On the navigation pane, choose , and then click View Overview on the target service card. In Configuration Information, you can perform the following operations:
Note: Service VMs are not displayed in the regular VM list, the Inventory resource tree, or global search results. View and manage service VMs from the service overview.| Operation | Description |

| Launch the console | In the Console field, click Launch Console to connect to a running service VM. |
| Start the VM | When the service VM is stopped, click Start in the State field. |
| Power off the VM | When the service VM is running, click Power Off in the State field. Review the service interruption impact before continuing. The platform service is unavailable while its VM is powered off. |
| Refresh information | Click the refresh icon at the top of the page to update service status and VM configuration. |
