Modify SAN Storage Configuration
After SAN storage is added, you can edit its name and description, modify the disk preallocation policy, adjust the SAN storage allocation strategy, or modify the data storage overcommit ratio as needed. For SAN storage expansion, see Expand SAN Storage.

| Modify SAN Storage Allocation Strategy | Sets the placement strategy for volumes and snapshots on SAN storage LUNs. Default: Allocate by device name. Available policies include allocating by device name, creating volumes on the LUN with the most remaining capacity, and creating volumes on the LUN with the fewest volumes. |
