Issue/Introduction
This article describes how to troubleshoot database installation failure while installing the management node service. It applies to the initial diagnosis and resolution of similar issues in ZStack Cloud.
Environment
- Product: ZCF
- Component: Cloud
- Version: 3.x-5.5.30
Symptoms
Database installation reports an error and fails while the management node service is being installed.
Possible causes
An ISO image is mounted through IPMI, but the configuration has not been fully adjusted, causing database installation to fail.
Resolution
- Sign in to the management node console, run
vim /root/.bashrc, and add the following content to.bashrc:

Before modifying .bashrc, back up the original file and confirm that the configuration applies to the current environment.
YUM0=h84r- Install the management node service again. Database installation then succeeds.
