Issue/Introduction

This article describes how to uninstall the Linux GuestTools. It applies to the initial diagnosis and resolution of similar issues in ZStack Cloud.

Environment

• Product: ZCF
• Component: Cloud
• Version: 3.x-5.5.30

Resolution

1. Sign in to the VM instance operating system and run the following command to stop the service:

  [root@localhost ~]# service zwatch-vm-agent stop

2. Run the following command to remove the file:

  [root@localhost ~]# mv /etc/systemd/system/zwatch-vm-agent.service <target-path>

3. Run the following command to remove the directory:

  [root@localhost ~]# mv /usr/local/zstack/zwatch-vm-agent <target-path>
