Issue/Introduction
This article covers an issue in ZStone 4.2.8 and 4.3.6 where clicking the request code download button on the ZStone page does not trigger any response.
Symptoms
- Clicking the Download Request Code button on the ZStone page does not trigger any response.
Environment
- Product line: ZCF
- Component: ZStone
- Version: 4.2.8, 4.3.6
Possible causes
The issue may have either of the following causes:
- In a 4.3.6 environment, the ZStack Cloud license has expired, no app ID record exists in the database, and an
app id emptymessage is printed during installation. - In a 4.2.8 environment, the ZStone master IP differs from the management node IP, and the apiserver log contains an error message.
Resolution
1. Check the service and account information
- Check: Confirm that the ZStone service is running correctly.
- Check: Confirm that the ZStone account password is the same as the password in ZStack Cloud.
2. Query the app ID record
- Command:
select * from LicenseAppIdVO;
- Check: Confirm whether an app ID record exists in the database.
- If abnormal: If no record exists, clean up and reinstall ZStone, and check whether an
app id emptymessage is printed at the end of the installation.
3. Check the ZStack Cloud license
- Check: If
app id emptyis printed at the end of the installation, confirm whether the ZStack Cloud license has expired. - If abnormal: Reactivate the ZStack Cloud license. After the license is restored, reinstall ZStone and confirm that the app ID is written to the database successfully.

4. Check the master IP
- Check: Inspect the apiserver error message and confirm whether the ZStone master IP is the same as the management node IP.
- If abnormal: Update the ZStone configuration so that the master IP matches the management node IP. Restart the affected services and verify that the request code download works correctly.
